Stop Blackpool bashing!

I love this town.  Grew up here.  Moved away at 16.  Lived in exile in Leicester for the past forty years and defended Blackpool every step of the way.  In the words of Arnie, never dreamt “I’ll be back”.  Here I am and it’s better than ever.

Yes, there are areas in need of love and attention with little in the way of industry, lots of unemployment, problems with health, poor education. Blackpool’s got the lot according to the bashers.  Let’s face it, most cities and large towns have similar issues.

But nowhere else has Blackpool Tower.
