Shapes of things

Standard

Taking random snaps of random shapes has brought to life a 1966 hit, Shapes of things,  by the Yardbirds.   Can’t stop humming it.

Shapes of things before my eyes … …

Shapes of things
With its anti war, pro-environment lyrics, it’s as relevant today as it was in 1966.

Now the trees are almost green
But will they still be seen
When time and tide have been
Boy into your passing hands
Please don’t destroy these lands
Don’t make them desert sands
