What a diff’rence a day makes

Standard

Twenty-four little hours
Brought the sun
and the flowers
Where there used to be rain

Had to humalong to this Dinah Washington song
(won a Grammy Award for Best Rhythm & Blues Recording 1960)

Just 24 little hours after a crisp, sunny day
followed by a sparkling clear night,
the weather does this to us!
The light, or lack of it,
creates alternative snapshot scenarios
