Easter Saturday in St Annes

Standard

Blimey, wish it would warm up a bit.  Still, it’s turned out nice enough to wrap up and see who’s out and about.  Everyone’s dressed for winter.  Occupants are snuggled inside the Beach Huts with the doors shut tight.  Can’t blame them.  The wind’s blowing straight off the Irish Sea.  Not stopping out long in this.

The Promenade Gardens resplendent with tulips and primroses, and the freshly dredged lake look lovely.  Too cold to hang around.  Off home for a cuppa.

Handsome Drakes

Three handsome mallard drakes parade their magnificent plumage in the sunshine. The female is too sleepy to notice!
